About Kernow Septic

Kernow Septic is a local septic tank and sewage service for Cornwall — the county's farms, villages and coastal parishes where homes look after their own drainage rather than connecting to the mains sewer.

What we do

We handle the whole off-mains lifecycle: regular emptying and servicing, repairs when something goes wrong, and compliant treatment-plant and septic tank installation or replacement — including the upgrades needed to meet the 2020 rules.

Compliance-first

The rules around septic tanks changed in 2020 and catch a lot of homeowners out, especially at the point of sale. We built a free compliance checker so you can see where you stand in a couple of minutes, and we always empty using registered waste carriers with the paperwork to prove it.
